NOTE: This virtual continuing education center is currently under construction and is for purposes of demonstration only.

This course is designed for expert witnesses, consultants, and employees of companies who are involved in the prosecution or defense of claims relating to environmental pollution resulting from oilfield operations, including exploration/production, transportation, and refining.
The course will demonstrate the development and application of technical strategies based on data gathering, data entry, data interpretation, and presentation using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software.
The course instructors have worked together on a number of cases and have developed effective uses for GIS technology in the context of litigation and administrative proceedings.
Upon completion of the course, participants should be able to consider and understand how to use a more sophisticated and communicative presentation of data that can, in turn, improve their negotiation position and achieve a more successful resolution.
